3 Days Kruger Safari Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg – Sabi Sand Game Reserve

You will be met at your hotel in Johannesburg by our South African safari representative. He will brief you on this 3 day Kruger National Park safari package. You will then depart making your way towards the Tydon Safari Camp.

This South African safari camp is situated at Shaw’s Gate. This is at the entrance gate to the World renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You will have time to check into your room and freshen up. This will be followed by an evening game drive in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

A campfire in the boma welcomes you back after dark. You’ll be served with beverages before you sit down for dinner. You’ll enjoy a well-prepared dinner under stars. You may opt to have it in the main dining area.

Lying in the heart of the Lowveld is a wildlife sanctuary like no other, its atmosphere so unique that it allows those who enter its vastness to immerse themselves in the unpredictability and endless wilderness that is the true quality of Africa.

The largest game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park is larger than Israel. Nearly 2 million hectares of land that stretch for 352 kilometres (20 000 square kilometres) from north to south. This is along the Mozambique border, is given over to an almost indescribable wildlife experience. Certainly, it ranks with the best in Africa and is the flagship of the country’s national parks.

The Kruger National Park lies across the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo in the north of South Africa, just south of Zimbabwe and west of Mozambique. It now forms part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park.

This is a peace park that links Kruger National Park with game parks in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and fences are already coming down. This is to allow game to freely roam in much the way it would have in the time before man’s intervention. When complete, the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park will extend across 35 000 square kilometres. It will be portioned as 58% of it South African, 24% Mozambican and 18% Zimbabwean territory.

Day 2: Kruger National Park Safari Game Drive

Your 3 day Kruger National Park safari will then take a break for relaxation and meditation upon what you have seen during the heat of the day. This time can be spent by the pool-side or on a leisure walk around the Camp.

You’ll have your light lunch served between 1230hrs and 1400hrs. This will be followed by an afternoon game drive at 1500hrs. You will comb Kruger National Park for its wildlife animals, bird species, fauna, and flora. These will certainly leave you feeling enriched and most certainly rewarded. You will return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Kruger – Johannesburg

This is the last day of your 3-day Kruger National Park safari. You will depart after breakfast and check out. Today your 3 day Kruger National Park safari will head back to Johannesburg.

This drive takes you via Gods Window, Lisbon Falls, and Graskop. You will stop en-route for lunch which is at cost. You are expected back to Johannesburg at approximately 1730hrs.

You will end your 3 day Kruger National Park safari with a drop-off. This can either be at your hotel or the airport for departure.
