Detailed 3 Day Tsavo West Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park
A sumptuous breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi prepares you for the day. Your chief guide for the day will be at the hotel by 0630 hrs. He will walk you through the 3-day Tsavo West safari itinerary after exchange of pleasantries.
It is time to check into your safari van and leave snaking out of the city’s busy traffic.
Enjoy the changing environments as you drive through. Take note as you change from the busy concrete walls of the big city into the open countryside.
Enjoy the views of the hills, te traditional huts and the local people as you drive past small villages. The drive also takes you through small shopping centres. You will get past Emali and onward to Tsavo West National Park.
On arrival, proceed with game drive as you drive to your lodge in Tsavo West. You will check in in time for lunch and a short rest.
At 1600 hrs you will embark on an evening game drive. Look forward to seeing lions, elephants, buffaloes and topi. There is also the olive baboons, Vervet monkeys among other wildlife.
