Lusaka

Lusaka has become something of a boom town of late. New buildings are going up everywhere and many chain stores and shopping malls are springing up all over the sprawling suburbs.

Livingstone

Livingstone was named after the famous Victorian missionary explorer, Dr David Livingstone. He explored this area extensively, Livingstone Town was established in 1905.

Chipata

Chipata, which was known as Fort Jameson in pre-independence days, was the administrative capital of Northeastern Rhodesia from 1899 to 1911.  The town is now a busy, trading centre and as a result of its history, has an interesting “old quarter”.

Ndola

Ndola is the city at the centre of economic development in Zambia. It is located at the junction of roads leading to several cities and towns on the Copperbelt and beyond. One is able to easily cross over into the Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C.) to the north and Angola to the west.
