Accommodation at Primate Lodge Kibale

Primate Lodge Kibale features an exclusive camp. The facility has eight superior safari tents, seven comfortable forest cottages. There is also an adventurous Tree House.

All rooms are privately situated within the forest. This makes the lodge an ideal place to unwind. You will definitely enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Superior Safari Tents

There are eight superior safari tents at Primate Lodge Kibale. They are raised on a wooden platform and covered by a grass-thatched roof. These tents perfectly blend with the natural environment.

Each tent has a private veranda with a splendid view of the surrounding forest. The interior is tastefully decorated in African style. The tents at Primate Lodge Kibale comes with comfortable queen-sized beds.

They have brightly colored bedspreads and large windows to take in the forest. En suite bathrooms are done with natural touch of local stone, bamboo and wall paintings.

Forest Cottages

Primate Lodge Kibale has seven intimate cottages. They are privately situated in the forest. The rooms feature their own veranda.

They are equipped with large twin beds and a sitting area. The cottages are nicely decorated with traditional African art. En suite is a fully equipped bathroom with shower and flushing toilet.

Sky Tree House

This is for the adventurous African safari travelers. You can spend an exciting night high up in the tree. This Tree House comprises of a simple bedroom. It comes with basic washing facilities at the foot of the tree.

It is located at a 10 minutes’ walk from the main lodge. The tree house overlooks the scenic elephant wallow. This area is often visited by the forest elephants at night.

Campsite

Primate Lodge Kibale has a well-maintained campsite. This comes with shared washing facilities.

Restaurant

Following the winding path you will find the main lodge located in the lush greenery. In the spacious dining room delicious meals, both international and traditional African dishes, are served with a smile.

Bar

Adjacent to the restaurant is a well-stocked bar where you can have a fresh cup of coffee or other drink, while enjoying the magical forest that encloses the lodge.

Lounge area

An open lounge area is furnished with comfortable large chairs, sofas and soft cushions, making it the ideal place to unwind and listen to the chattering of the red-tailed monkeys in the dense branches.

Following the winding path you will find the main lodge located in the lush greenery. In the spacious dining room delicious meals, both international and traditional African dishes, are served with a smile.

It is not recommendable to drink water from the tap. Bottled mineral water is available at the restaurant and bar.

Valuables

The lodge is not responsible for valuables kept in the rooms. Personal items of value can be stored at the main lodge.

Power supply

The main lodge and rooms are equipped with solar powered electricity. However, due to the environment, the solar system may not charge as expected.

In this case kerosene lanterns are provided at the reception. Primate Lodge Kibale kindly request you to use the power in an eco-responsible way and turn off the lights when leaving the room.
