Where is Saruni Samburu Lodge Located?
Saruni Samburu lodge is located at the heart of the Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy. This is about 7 km from the Northern border of the Samburu National Reserve. Access to the the Saruni Samburu is through the Kalama Gate. This luxury safari lodge in Samburu also borders Ngutuk Ongiron to the west. Namunyak Community Conservation Trust to the north. There is also Sera Community Wildlife Conservation to the north east.

Rooms for Accommodation at Saruni Samburu Lodge
Accommodation at the Saruni Samburu lodge comes in Villas. They vary from single occupancy villa to family villas. Accommodation is on all inclusive basis.
Villa One is a large family villa with two separate en suite bedrooms. They are joined by a spacious living room and verandah. This villa is fantastic for families with young children. The spectacular bathrooms have bath tubs and outdoor showers. The open verandah has a fire place to keep away the chill on the cool Samburu nights. The spacious sitting and dining area is great for private dinners. Villa One is accessible by car and is only a short walk from Kudu House, the main lodge.
Villa Two is Saruni Samburu’s biggest and most spacious villa. It is perfect for families or for two separate groups of guests. It can be used exclusively as a large family villa. It comes with two separate en-suite bedrooms. This villa can also be booked as two separate entities for two different groups of guests. The villa has a spacious sitting and dining area for private dinners. It has a large and open verandah and a fridge stocked with cold refreshments. The beautiful uninterrupted views, outdoor showers and luxurious rooms will not disappoint. Villa Two is just a short walk down the main pathway to Kudu House, the main lodge. It is also very close to the bottom infinity pool and the Samburu Wellbeing Space.
Villa Three is a single villa, with one en-suite bedroom and a spacious living area and verandah. Villa Three has a very unique character and style. It blends beautifully into its surroundings. It is a romantic refuge for a honeymoon couple. can also be an adventurous escape for a family of three. There is an outdoor shower, private dining area and interesting design. This will make for an exciting and memorable stay. Villa Three is a short walk away from Kudu House, the main lodge. It is near the bottom infinity pool and Samburu Wellbeing Space.
Villa Four is a large family villa with two separate en-suite bedrooms. They are joined by a spacious living room and verandah. Villa Four is brilliant for families or a group of friends. It has incredible views from each room. There are large bathrooms with private outdoor showers. It also has a wonderful open living area for relaxing and private dinners. This villa is a short walk to both infinity pools and the Samburu Well-being Space. You will also be close to the top pool with the most unbelievable infinite view. It is further away from Kudu House, the main lodge than Villa One Two and Three. But, it is still only a short walk down the path.
Villa Five is a single villa with one bedroom and a spacious living area. It has a verandah, and is known as Saruni Samburu’s Honeymoon Suite. Villa Five has been written about in many publications. This is because the room with the most beautiful view and the most amazing room in Africa. This villa is built onto the edge of a hillside around the natural rock formations. This makes you feel as if you are on top of the world and still tucked within the beautiful surroundings. There are panoramic views of the wilderness below. These are enjoyed from the elegant bedroom and verandah. The luxurious en-suite bathroom and the spacious living and dining area. Villa Five has a special, secluded dining deck for romantic, private meals. It is about a 7-minute walk to Kudu House, the main lodge area, and is very close to the top infinity pool.
Villa Six can be booked exclusively as a family unit. It can also be booked as separate single villas for two different groups of guests. It has its own, different style and location. It is the furthest room from Kudu House, the main lodge, and the closest to the top infinity pool. It has its own unique and beautiful view. This is because it is facing the magnificent Mathews Range of northern mountains. The other villas do not enjoy the northern mountains views. The two bedrooms lead on to spectacular bathrooms. This come with indoor and private outdoor showers. It is great for families, a group of friends, or as a single villa. The villa has a spacious sitting and dining area for private dinners. There is a large verandah overlooking the unending view. There is a fridge stocked with cold refreshments.

Cancellation / Prepayment
PAYMENT & RESERVATIONS POLICY
Reservation and confirmation of a room at Saruni Samburu Lodge has requirements. Clients are required to pay 50% down payment for the requested services. The balance will be required at least 14 days prior to your date of arrival.
African Safari Tour will hold a reservation for up to seven days at a client's request. This is to allow the client time to send a deposit payment. This is if Saruni Samburu Lodge booking are over a month prior to the service. This must be received before we can confirm your booking. If confirmation is not received within the seven days all blocked rooms at Saruni Samburu Lodge will be automatically released for re-sale. The full amount of the service must be made within 14 days of date of arrival at Saruni Samburu Lodge. As for bookings within a month of service, full payment shall be requested for. This will be required before confirmation of Saruni Samburu Lodge is undertaken.
All cancellations must be received in writing. This will take effect from the date received by African Safari Tour. The following cancellation charges will apply.
More than 56 days before departure: No cancellation fee
56-49 days before departure: 25%
48-29 days before departure: 35%
28-0 days before departure: 100%
The non-issuing of an invoice or non-payment of deposit will not exempt passengers from these cancellation and administration fees. We regret we can make no exception to the charges and strongly recommend that insurance is taken out to cover cancellation fees. These cancellation charges can vary subject to the trading terms of our suppliers.
Children and extra beds
Children older than 2 years are welcome at Saruni Samburu Lodge. One child from 2 to 11.9 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
The maximum number of extra beds for children in a room is 2.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
