Simba Safari Camp offers a variety of comfortable and affordable guest rooms. There are dormitory rooms and a well established camp site. Simba Safari Camp is located on a hill with spectacular views of Lake George.

Simba Safari Camp, renowned for excellent hospitality, is located close to Uganda’s most popular Queen Elizabeth National Park (QE), as well as Lakes George and the famed Kazinga Channel.

It is the closest accommodation to QE’s Kasenyi plains on the edge of Lake George, the famed mating grounds for the Uganda Kobs and thus the most preferred area for game viewing drives.

It is also closest to the other areas of northern Queen Elizabeth National Park, including the Mweya Peninsula and the Kazinga Channel; well known for wildlife boat cruises, close range game-viewing as well as bird-viewing.

There is also an opportunity to go for guided chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge

In December 2008 Simba Safari Camp opened her doors in one of the most frequently visited parks in Uganda.

The comfortable and low budget safari accommodation is located right on the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park and only two kilometers from the Equator.

You can also see the Lake Kikorongo and the savannah plains. Simba Safari Camp offers the closest accommodation for game drives in the Kasenyi plains.

Elephants and buffaloes can often be viewed from the camp. Simba Safari Camp opened her doors in December 2008. This was adjacent to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is one of the most frequently visited parks by People on Uganda safari tours.

Simba Safari Camp has a total capacity of 70 beds. They include family cottages, twin rooms and dormitories. A variety of meals and drinks are served in the restaurant. There is an adjacent bar and a sitting area.

Rooms at Simba Safari Camp

En suite rooms

Simba Safari Camp features nine double/ twin rooms and two triple rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. They have two single beds or a double bed with mosquito nets.

En suite is a bathroom with running water and flushing toilet. Part of the floor is covered with natural pebble stones. This gives your feet a pleasant massage while taking a shower.

The water is heated by a special solar energy system. Moreover, each room features its veranda. Here you can relax or read a book while enjoying your privacy.

Family Cottage

This is for those on African family safari with children. This is a comfortable accommodation that allows you to stay close to your family. The family cottage consists of two bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom.

It comes with a living room with an extra bed. There is also a spacious veranda available to sit comfortably with your family. The family cottage takes a maximum of 5 people.

Dormitory rooms

This is for those who are more on an African budget safari tour. Simba Safari Camp offers three mixed dormitory rooms. They come with three, five and ten double-deckers.

All double-deckers are provided with a mosquito net. Adjacent to the dormitory rooms is a common shower and toilet block. This has running hot and cold running water.

Campsite

Simba Safari Camp has a well-maintained campsite. It comes with shared washing facilities. One can also come with his/ her tent.

Restaurant

This is located at the main lodge. It is an open air restaurant where delicious and affordable meals are served. The meals are prepared with care top give a real taste of the African cuisine.

Lunch and dinner can be ordered from the a-la-carte menu. Sometimes and especially when the house is full, buffet is served.

Bar

Adjacent to the restaurant is a well-stocked bar. Here you can have a refreshing soda or cold beer. In the mornings, a wakeup call can be arranged.

You can comfortably have fresh coffee or tea served at your veranda. This is a great start for your early morning game drive!

Lounge area

This is an open lounge area is furnished with comfortable chairs. The lounge is a great place to unwind after an exciting safari day.

There is a TV with DSTV available at the lounge. Free WIFI is available in the public areas.
