As a new explorer you will enjoy the Stanley suite with its own private plunge pool. With a separate bedroom this suite is perfect for families with 2 or 3 children. The separate bedroom has its own bathroom and access to the plunge pool.
The Stanley Suite has a private lounge with fireplace, a master bedroom and a bathroom with separate bath and shower. From your terrace you have great views of the Zambezi Valley while enjoy a sun-downer drink.
The Stanley Suite comes with air-conditioning. The walking distance from the main building is approximately 1 minute.
Four of the rooms are suites, each having a private plunge pool with deck or terrace. They have a lounge area, a bedroom and a bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Stanley Safari Lodge Honeymoon Suite and Family Suite are open suites. They therefore enable guests on Zambia safari tours to absorb the sights and sounds of the African bush fully. The Livingstone Suite and Stanley Suite are closed suites with a colonial interior. This evokes the elegant era of Stanley and Livingstone.
Stanley Safari Lodge has a total of six cottages. The cottages at this Zambia luxury safari lodge in Livingstone are all built in Safari style built with natural materials.
Baobab is a closed cottage, but all other cottages are open structures. This is to enhance to your Zambian experience. They include Birds Room, Zambezi View, Mukuni, Mosi-oa-Tunya and Victoria. All these cottages have a bath and shower with all the luxuries you might desire.
From the deck or terrace you can enjoy the splendid views of the Zambezi Valley.
Stanley Safari Lodge’s Birds room is an open cottage. In front of the room paradise flycatchers use the teak trees as a nesting area, hence its name. From your private deck however you will still see the spray of the Victoria Falls.
You can also view the Zambezi River and the sunset. While staying in the Birds room you will enjoy the African bush to the utmost. From your bed to the bath you have good views over the Zambezi Valley.
From the shower you can enjoy the chattering of the flycatchers in the trees. The walking distance to the main building is approximately 2 minutes.
Zambezi View is an open cottage. This is one of the rooms where the views are the best from every angle of the room. Whether it is from your bedroom, bath or shower, first or even second terrace the views are superb.
You can see a large stretch of the Zambezi. You might want to stay in your room all day. The Zambezi View cottage has a bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. This is an elevated bath and open-air shower. Zambezi View is also the closest room to the main building.
Mosi-oa-Tunya means “the smoke that thunders”, that is how the Victoria Falls were originally named by the local population. Indeed you do see the spray of the Mosi-oa-Tunya from this open cottage. cottage has a bedroom with a roofed terrace and an elevated bathroom.

Mukuni is the name of the neighboring traditional village. Mukuni is one of the oldest villages of Zambia. It is over 700 years old and still ruled by its traditional ruler, His Royal Highness Chief Mukuni is the Monarch of the Victoria Falls.
Mukuni is an open cottage with an open terrace and a bedroom with splendid views. It has an elevated bathroom from where one can still enjoy the views of the Zambezi Valley. Its interior is very African style.

Victoria is one of Stanley safari lodge most popular cottages and that must be because of its bath: right at the edge of the room with great views. But also from its wooden decks the views are splendid. Especially for the sunset this is one of the best rooms.

Baobabs are the majestic, century old trees which makes one think of Africa straight away. And staying in the Baobab cottage will definitely give you an African experience.
Baobab is the only closed cottage at Stanley safari lodge and has a bedroom with outside terrace with a roof.
The bathroom is elevated and is located behind the bedroom, but still with views of the Zambezi Valley. Baobab is also the closest room to the main building.
