2 Day Arusha National Park Safari Itinerary

Day 1: ARUSHA TOWN – ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Our Tanzania safari rep will come to pick you from your hotel. This will be at 0800hrs and after your breakfast. You will be briefed on the Arusha National Park safari. With picnic lunch boxes leave for Arusha National Park.

Upon arrival you will embark on a 3 hours of walking safari. You will explore nature on foot while accompanied by armed ranger. The forests around are inspiration to birdwatchers. This area has over 50 species of birds. Most migrant birds are found here.

After your lunch embark on a half day game drive in the park. This drive takes you to Ngurdoto Crater rim and Momella Lakes. This park is famous for Black and white Colobus Monkeys. There are also Burchell’s zebra, giraffe and herds of buffalo. Proceed to Ngurdoto Safari Lodge in time for dinner.

About Arusha National Park

It is a popular destination for day trip visitors who are about to embark from the town of Arusha on longer northern circuit safaris. The small national park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mt. Meru, the Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that blanket its lower slopes.
