Day 1: Antananarivo – Andasibe

Meet and greet upon arrival at the Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo. Tongasoa!!! (Welcome) to the Capital city of Madagascar, Antananarivo. The term means ‘The City of a Thousand warriors’.

Andasibe Mantadia National Park was created in 1989. It covers 15,480 hectares, most of which is covered by a dense evergreen humid forest. They include the legendary Indri Indri, the mysterious Aye-Aye, the famous Varecia variegata, etc.
