Day 1: Johannesburg
You will be met on arrival at the OR Tambo International Airport. Our South African safari rep will assist you to your airport shuttle. You’ll then enjoy a transfer to your hotel for check in. Day 2: Johannesburg – Spioenkop (525 Kms)

You’ll be right there, in the heart of the action. Today you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch today to take full advantage of the sensational scenery. You will proceed later to Rorke’s Drift Hotel to check in later in the evening. You’re booked on half board that includes dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: Spioenkop – Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift (50 Kms)
You will start your South African trip day on a hearty breakfast this morning. It is your day to battle again. This is through the experience and magical storytelling skills of your guides. The 6 day South African trip moves onto the eerie landscape of Isandlwana. Here 20,000 mighty Zulu warriors took on the firepower of the British troops. They were able to wipe out close to an entire regiment in about 2½ hours. You’ll be thrilled with the stories of individuals and regiments. You will be able to feel the anguish of both friends and enemies. You’ll also be able to see a clear picture develop of how this battle influenced the next. You will be back to the hotel for a lunch break on own account. A short rest will be followed by a visit the Rorke’s Drift battle site. Here a handful of British soldiers took on 4,000 Zulu warriors. The Brits were outnumbered on a ratio of 35 to 1. This battle saw the award of 11 Victoria Crosses. This is the highest number awarded to a Regiment in a single action. Your South African trip takes a drive back to the country hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at Rorke’s Drift Hotel booked on half board.
Day 4: Spioenkop – Valley of the Zulu Kings (330 Kms)
Your 6 day South African trip starts with an early breakfast. Today’s journey goes through expansive African landscapes. You’ll be able to experience fascinating cultural insights. This is into the lives, influence and history of the Zulu nation. This South African trip visits the Umgungundlovu Interpretive Centre. You’ll be able to go to the Kwazulu Cultural Museum at Ondini. Both two attractions offer an interactive, accessible tale of Zulu culture, from traditions to today. You will move at your own pace through the Centers. There are movie clips and well-designed displays. One can also work the interactive topographical table. You’re in the land of kings, and this will be a royal experience. Day 5: Hlulhuwe-iMfolozi Park
You’ll spend the South African trip day game tracking. The day begins with the arrival of the game ranger. This is in the morning as the wild world is waking up and active. You’ll traverse the acclaimed Hlulhuwe-iMfolozi Park for five hours. This is done in an open safari vehicle enabling wonderful views. Day 6: Hlulhuwe-iMfolozi – St Lucia Estuary/Durban
Your 6 day South African trip will begin with an early breakfast. There will be your boat waiting for you in the morning. Your South African trip ventures into the St Lucia Estuary. This is part of the World Heritage Site, the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. It is also known as iSimangaliso Wetland Park. You need to relax as you cruise past both little and large wildlife. You’ll end the 6 day South African trip on a relaxed journey to Durban. Your expected time of arrival is midday. Drop off will be at your hotel in Durban or the airport for departure.
