Day 1: KAMPALA – BWINDI NATIONAL PARK

Bwindi covers 331 km2 characterized with mist covered hillsides. This park is famous for poignant wildlife encounter in the whole of Africa.
The impenetrable forest is the oldest, and the most diverse rainforest. Bwindi foest has over 400 species of plants.
It lies on the edge of the rift valley in south-western Uganda. This forest protects at least 120 species of mammals and 346 species of birds. There are 202 species of butterflies, 163 species of trees and 100 species of ferns. 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos, among other endangered species resides here.
Day 2: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

This is home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Proceed through the dense vegetation to trek for the endangered primates. This depends on where they built their nest the previous night.
For conservation purposes, time allowed with the Gorillas is one hour. Observe the gentle giants as they feed, groom the young, make love and play. If time allows, after tracking, you may take a community visit.

Day 3: BWINDI– QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

As you go to Kasenyi area be on the lookout for buffaloes, elephants, giraffes and warthogs. There are topis, kobs and waterbucks here too.

Day 6: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
