Red Chilli Rest Camp is superbly located to explore Murchison. This budget Uganda safari lodge in Murchison Falls offers affordable accommodation. Red Chilli Rest Camp is located in the southern bank of the River Nile. This is in the heart of the Murchison Falls National Park.

Red Chilli Rest Camp is just 500 meters from the Paraa ferry. Here all vehicles cross the Nile for game drives around the Nile Delta. You can also hire boats for game viewing and sport fishing on the Nile here.

Great Value Accommodation at Red Chilli Rest Camp

Red Chilli Rest Camp offers the only low to mid budget accommodation in the park. This facility has furnished safari tents and bandas.

The accommodation at Red Chilli Rest Camp comes with public or private bathrooms. This camp also has the only camping facilities with modern showers and toilets. There is a cooking area and security lighting.

Other Facilities at Red Chilli Rest Camp

Red Chilli Rest Camp has a fully stocked bar and restaurant. This is below a large open thatched roof with spectacular views towards the Nile. The bar serves drinks from 6.15am until midnight.

Meals are available at the following times: Breakfast 7.20am – 10.30am. Lunch is from 11.30am – 3pm and Dinner 6.30pm – 9pm. Breakfast and lunch at Red Chilli Rest Camp are Á la carte. Dinner has on offer a choice of 3 different dishes daily. There is one red meat, one white meat/fish and one vegetarian option.

Red Chilli Rest Camp caters for other dietary requirements on request. They also supply packed breakfasts on request. This is to be ordered before 8.00 pm the previous day. Tea and coffee are available so long as the bar is open!

A bonfire is lit most evenings if the weather permits. This enables you to have a full ‘safari’ experience. Red Chilli Rest Camp’s modern toilets and showers have provision for the physically challenged.

Those on African disabled safari to Uganda will therefore have no cause to worry. All Red Chilli Rest Camp’s en-suite bandas are fitted with solar hot water systems. However, the heat in Murchison means this isn’t always necessary.
