6 Day garden Route Tour Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town – Hermanus (200 Kms)
Your 6-day garden route tour starts with a pick up from your hotel in Cape Town. Our safari guide will be at hand to brief you. This is followed by a departure by 0830hrs. This 6 day garden route tour will then head to Stellenbosch. This is to pick up fellow travelers who are on this 6 day South African holiday.

Day 4: Knysna

About Tsitsikamma National Park
The Tsitsikamma National Park has long protected a narrow coastal strip. It is at the east end of South Africa’s Garden Route. Here visitors have delighted in the forested mountains. They come complete with waterfalls, ravines and beautiful flora. there are the beaches and marine life. The park has also protected this area’s beaches. There is the inter-tidal zone reefs and deeper-water up to 5km out to sea.
History of Tsitsikamma
The word Tsitsikamma is Khoisan for ‘place of much water’. Several cultural heritage sites are found in the area. they include Khoisan caves, middens and grave sites. We also have rock art sites and evidence of small fishing settlements.
Tsitsikamma National Park was the first marine national park to be proclaimed in Africa. It was established in 1964, after the 1st WorldConference on National Parks in Seattle. It is one of the world’s largest Marine Protected Areas (MPA). Since then has conserved a considerable part of the flora and fauna of the Garden Route.
Day 6: Tsitsikamma - Port Elizabeth (225 Kms)
