Detailed 10 Days Kenya Flying Safari Package

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve

Our rep will meet you on arrival at JKIA or from your Nairobi hotel. This will at 0630hrs in the morning. You will be briefed on this Kenya Flying Safari Package.

Later enjoy a transfer to Wilson Airport for your 0900hrs flight to Samburu Game Reserve. Our driver guide will be at hand to pick you upon arrival. Embark on a morning game drive that will introduce you to the park’s wildlife.

Later you will be transferred to Ashnil Samburu Lodge for check in and lunch. A short rest will be essential for relaxation. At 1600 hrs you will go for the evening game drive.

Return back to your safari lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Samburu National Reserve

The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.

The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi. It ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level.

Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks. This game reserve in Kenya still teams with lots of wildlife.

It is situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River. Here, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains.

The reserve is rich in wildlife with an plenty of rare northern specialist species. They include Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx. They have also referred to as Samburu Special Five.

The reserve is also home to elephants and large predators such as the lion, leopard and cheetah. Kamunyak the miracle lioness that adopted the baby oryx was as a resident in the reserve.

Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

Full day on the Kenya Flying Safari Package in the Samburu National Park. You will have both morning and evening game drives.

Samburu lying in the Northern hemisphere prides itself in having unique wildlife. Some of these animals found here are the Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra and the Beisa Oryx.

You should be on the lookout for the big cats and the elephants. All meals and dinner will be at the Ashnil Samburu Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu – Masai Mara National Park

You will wake up to an early morning game drive before breakfast. With check out done; enjoy a transfer with game drive to the airstrip. You will be in time for the 1000 hrs flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Pick up will be by our safari guide upon arrival at Keekorok Airstrip. Enjoy a short game drive as you proceed to your Masai Mara luxury camp.

After lunch you will have some rest to prepare you for the afternoon activities. At 1600 hrs enjoy an evening game drive to sample Masai Mara’s flora and fauna. Later in the evening you will drive back to Sarova Mara Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve

This is a full day of game viewing with picnic lunch in Masai Mara Game Reserve. You have a chance to see the great herds of plain’s game.

This includes the black manned lion, leopard, cheetah and many elephants. There is virtually every type of African wildlife to be found in Kenya in Masai Mara. All your meals, dinner and Overnight will be at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in an open grassland.

Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals. They arrive in July and departing in November.

There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles. Masai Mara Game Reserve boasts of over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant. It is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five. They include the buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Mombasa

Wake up to a cup of coffee or tea. This will be followed by your early morning game drive. You will then return back to the lodge for breakfast and check out.

Complete your wildlife viewing with a game drive as you drive to the airstrip. You will be in time for the 1100hrs to Wilson Airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant. Here you will enjoy world class lunch.

You will then be dropped off at JKIA in time for your flight to Mombasa. Meet and greet on arrival at the Mombasa International Airport. You will be transferred to Sarova Whitesand Resort and Spa.

Here you are booked is a standard room on half board basis. Dinner and overnight will be at your Mombasa beach hotel.

Day 6 – 9: Mombasa

Spend your days on this 10 days Kenya flying safari package on the beach. Your accommodation will be on half board basis with breakfast and dinner supplied.

You have the option of enjoying our day tours and excursions in Mombasa. We have the Old-town tour, city tour, Bamburi Nature trail tour or go snorkeling all at an extra cost.

You may also decide to enjoy sun and sand in the pristine white beaches of Bamburi beach. This is one of the leading beaches in Africa.

All your meals and overnight will be at your Sarova Whitesand Resort and Spa.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, you will have the morning at leisure. You will be picked up in time and transferred to Mombasa International Airport.

Transfer be in time for your flight to Nairobi to connect to flight home.
