Detailed 5-day Kenya Luxury Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Pick up for your Amboseli Air safari at your hotel at 0530 hrs by our Kenya Safaris rep. You will be briefed on this 4 nights Kenya luxury safari.
Later enjoy a transfer to Wilson Airport for your 0730hrs. This is in time for your flight to Amboseli National Park. Our driver guide will be at hand to pick you upon arrival.
Embark on a morning game drive that will introduce you to the park’s wildlife. Later you will be transferred to Amboseli Serena Lodge for check in and lunch. A short rest will be essential for relaxation.
At 1600 hrs you will go for the evening game drive. Return back to your safari lodge in time for dinner and overnight.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is 30 minutes away from Maasai Simba Camp. This World heritage site is home to hundreds of elephants and the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa standing 19,340 feet. We can take you here.
Amboseli National Park covers 150 square miles in southern Kenya. It is not far from the Tanzanian border as it borders Tanzania. The park boasts of over 1,000 elephants. Here there are also lions, leopards, cheetah, hyenas, hippos, and hundreds of zebras. Others include wildebeests, giraffes, impala, gazelles, warthogs and buffalos.
Amboseli National Park boasts of more than 400 species of birds all gather in the haven of the park. Maasai Simba Camp can take you to Amboseli.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Full day on the 4 nights Kenya luxury safari in the Amboseli National Park. You will have both morning and evening game drives. Amboseli is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli National Park has different kinds of wildlife. The fact that it is a plain makes sighting of animals much easier. On a clear day, you will be able to see the tallest mountain in Africa, The Mt. Kilimanjaro.
All meals will be at the Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli – Masai Mara National Park
Enjoy a morning on this 4 nights Kenya luxury safari on an early breakfast. This is to be followed by a transfer to the Airstrip. You will be on the 0730 hrs flight to Wilson Airstrip.
On arrival, connect to the 1000 hrs flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve. This is a 45 minutes scenic flight that lets you see a lot while airborne. You will be picked up by our safari guide upon arrival at Keekorok Airstrip.
Enjoy a short game drive as you are being transferred to your Masai Mara luxury lodge. Your arrival will be in time for lunch and check in. Embark on an evening game drive at 1600 hrs.
Later in the evening you will return to Sarova Mara Tented Camp in time for dinner and overnight.
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara is home to a stunning array and exceptional density of big game. Kenya's Masai Mara Reserve is one of Africa's most famous parks. The sheer quantity of wildlife on display during each game drive is outstanding.
There are few places on the continent that offer such good big five viewing. The Mara also hosts the Great Migration's immense herds towards the end of the year.
Following the great migration from a hot air balloon, is an amazing way. It is the vastness of the Masai Mara's untamed wilderness. You will have the incredible density of the wildlife on the plains.
It must be said that the Mara's reputation has a price: this is one of the busiest parks in Africa. Its proximity to Nairobi means it is accessed with ease. It is not uncommon to have more than 10 vehicles around a pride of lion...
Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve
This is a full day of game viewing with picnic lunch in Masai Mara Game Reserve. You have a chance to see the great herds of plain's game. This includes the black manned lion, leopard, cheetah and many elephants.
There is every type of African wildlife to be found in Kenya in Masai Mara. All your meals, dinner and Overnight will be at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi
You will wake up to a cup of coffee or tea. This will be followed by your early morning game drive. You will then return back to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
Complete your wildlife viewing with a game drive as you drive to the airstrip. You will be in time for the 1100 hrs to Wilson Airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant. Here you will enjoy world class lunch.
Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA in time for your flight back home.
